CSR-HRM can more fully develop notions of workers as stakeholders — the nature of their stake and their engagement with the organization — and their special role as constituting and representing the firm. Notably we seek to provide grounds for dialogue and plurality among multiple perspectives. Our own extensive and subjective research experiences bring both value and limitations to this analysis.
Inevitably, there will be disagreement with our analyses and resultant theses; critique on what we have gotten wrong and what we have omitted. We look forward to such dissensus and debate; rather than gather the field together as an integrated whole, we hold that the goal for a conceptual analysis such as this is to map the territory, trek less-explored paths and expose the terrain.

It works incredibly well. I learned this system because I wanted to manifest a new relationship. I got that in spades and on top of it I got a ton of energy, confidence and even increased my salary. Your system completely demystifies everything about manifestation. More importantly its going to start making manifestation work for people — finally. Well done my friend, this is work to be proud of, you are providing a true service for the world.
This is a rare gift. For many years people have asked me if I could recommend any books or courses on practical and effective manifestation. I thank Jack Greenwood for giving me an answer. It is not based on false bravado or hype but results in accelerated manifestation. It is the best. This is amazing work. You are a wonderful man Jack! Very well done!
The most impressive manifestation system that I have ever learned. I feel totally confident in achieving my dreams in all areas of my business, social and personal life. JJ Bola's book "Mask off" reflects on the current state of western masculinity. It doesn't cast aspersions about men, It's a highly compassionate book cataloging the many plights of men, their needs as human's and how patriarchy get's in the way.
The book ends with a ten point plan, which I would clumsily reduce to "feminism" is the solution and I whole heartily agree. Thankfully I have got to a place in my life where many of the concepts are not surprising to me, I am only here because of the benefit of time. I read a lot of non-fiction, years of reading about feminism, anti capitalism, mental health and communication skills prepared me for most of the content.
This curiosity was fuelled out of despair, frustration and anger. JJ confess he wrote the book he wished he had found as a teenage boy? I too wish I found a book like this when I was younger. It would have eased me so much. Therefore it's a book I think I would like to keep on my bookshelf and to hand to a young man at some point in the future.
The author quotes Fredrick Douglas "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. The idea that we raise young girls to be domesticated, to cook and clean not out of a desire for self sufficiency but to prepare to 'be good wife'. This is a concept common to most but when put into perspective with how we raise boys, it's was an awakening when I think of the men I have encountered who struggle to take care of themselves.
There are many powerful moments that made me reflect on moments where I have failed to call out misogynistic language, JJ makes the argument. I really liked learning about gender fluidity, especially that many cultures were at peace with multiple gender identities before colonial influences. This was something new to me, I was aware of tolerance of same sex relationships in pre colonial times but the native American's concept of five genders was impressive.
I like JJ's argument " Some people might want to hang onto binary and rigid perceptions of gender and sexual because it reinforces their heteronormative identity, and their beliefs in the patriarchal hierarchy. I need to ask a few how they are doing. The book reminds me that both boys and men need love and affection, to be taken care off and to be physically touched, they can compensate in unhealthy ways but I have an active responsibility to myself as a man and the men I interact with.
I would like to read this book again in a couple years. Apr 04, Isabella - SnooRegrets rated it liked it Shelves: im-besitz , print , non-fiction. Very important topic, but a rather shallow execution. Skirts around the absolut basic and contains some baseless statements. Oct 29, Jack Greenwood rated it really liked it Shelves: read-in , rebuild-the-left , postbritain , feminism.
I love this Pluto Press series. Feminism, Interrupted by Lola Olufemi was the 1st I got my hands on. The authors appear to share the same superpower to de-confuddle complex academic language like a knife through silken tofu.
JJ is ready to remove your man mask with poetic artistry. For all those men who baulk at acce I love this Pluto Press series.
For all those men who baulk at accepting the existence of the patriarchy. You also might be suffering from it. JJ Bola has kind words to soothe you. He explains it real good and real simple. It is a kind of double-edged sword, a poisonous panacea; that is to say, the same system that puts men at an advantage in society is essentially the same system that limits them; inhibits their growth and eventually leads to their break down.
Two women a week are killed by partners or ex-partners in the UK. Bola is insistent that dismembering the patriarchy will lead to greater male freedom, and protection from the harmful elements that it reinforces such as appalling rates of mental health problems and suicides. Feminism includes you.
And when I see guys, particularly young guys, attacking feminism, do you know what it looks like to me?
It looks like when the Fire Brigade go to a really rough housing estate, and they get stoned. The main idea I took from this little bundle of recycled paper was that men need love. Love and kindness. NON-sexual love. At least not without the influence of mind-altering substances. Although even then, a sneaky 'bro' is likely to hop onto the end of that short sentence. So there it is. I love you. With no extras.
To your male friends. No problem. It's time to get socialised back into non-intimate love. Our lives literally depend on it. Mar 28, Amina rated it liked it. JJ Bola truly simplifies academic language and rhetorics surrounding gender performativity, and hegemonic masculinities. He writes in a clear language for everyone to understand. Many of the chapters revolve around the ways in which the patriarchy is deeply rooted and embedded in how masculine subjects see, feel, and understand themselves, as well as how they reproduce those same inequalities on others.
I think the book could have dived deeper into other matters: colonial histories, the ideologi JJ Bola truly simplifies academic language and rhetorics surrounding gender performativity, and hegemonic masculinities. I think the book could have dived deeper into other matters: colonial histories, the ideological indoctrination of the "masculine" figure, and why it grew to be worshipped, etc However, I also understand that the book is a "taster", and an initiator to a much larger body of academic that exists on these same issues.
And because of that, JJ Bola did a great job at breaking the silence, and being straightforward and intentional with each and every sentence. Re: Jack Greenwood mind body method for manifestation Post by gysiang » Sun Jan 06, pm Could you kindly share your experiences doing this method.
I'm doing a lower horse stance to build my legs and I'm considering how to apply the principles of jack greenwood's book into my practice. I just roll my hips a little bit forward, which causes a small amount of leg bending. Here's the trick: you need to be as relaxed in your body as possible without falling over. Thats why I do minimal bending. Because tension blocks the energy flow. So low stances that are hard, that make you build muscle is not going to work here i believe , because energy will not flow then, it flows when your relax.
At the moment I am doing basic Zhan Zhaung without the body method additions compression of energy for other types of usage health focus.
