OK, I think we are there. I have uninstalled ECDC 5, downloaded and run roxizap. Pinnacle Studio had a problem with the driver on re-boot but repaired itself upon request. Thank you all for your perseverance in helping me out here. I did lose heart a couple of times but the need to backup my all important Family History and Money files kept me going.
